National Oyster Day at Goldfinch Tavern Today; Reuben's Anniversary Party

DOWNTOWN — Today is National Oyster Day, and Goldfinch Tavern's Aeron Wicks is shucking oysters from 4 to 6 p.m. for happy hour, with $2 bivalves or $1.50 a piece for a dozen. [EaterWire]

BALLARD Reuben's Brews is celebrating its third anniversary on August 15 starting at noon. They'll be pouring a limited edition, anniversary "Three Years Gose Fast" beer and the first 200 people will receive a commemorative British pub glass.
