L'il Woody's, show us how it's done. To demonstrate support for the striking Seattle Public School teachers, both locations of Li'l Woody's (Ballard and Capitol Hill) are offering one free burger to each teacher through the end of the day today, and for each subsequent day the strike continues. (And by the looks of things, tomorrow may be it, so best get a move on.)
Don't get greedy: add-ons, substitutions and sides are all extra, and there is a limit of one per customer. Or dishonest: teachers must be present to order and receive their burgers; no "group" orders are permitted. Just get on over to L'il Woody's with a valid SPS ID, and as The Stranger suggested yesterday, if you want to show owner Marcus Lalario your thanks, hit up his brand new Fat's Chicken and Waffles in the Central District, too.
L'il Woody's business hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays in both locations. Ballard is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday while Capitol Hill stays open until 3 a.m. on weekend nights.
