Salish Lodge & Spa has announced the hiring of Matt Heikkila as executive chef. Heikkila recently cooked at Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club in Blaine as well as private golf club TPC Snoqualmie Ridge. He'll oversee the food coming out of the kitchens at The Dining Room, The Attic, and the Chef's Studio, all on site at the lodge.
"Matt has been an integral part of the growing culinary team," said Salish Lodge & Spa’s general manager Rod Lapasin. "We’re confident that he will carry on our philosophy that celebrates the bounty of the Pacific Northwest and maintains a focus on fresh, vibrant and seasonally driven dishes."
Heikkila will also lead the popular Salish Culinary Adventures series, Culinary Happy Hours, and Full Moon Dinners.
