TALL TALES -- The proposed skyscraper at Fourth and Columbia is not interested in simply fitting nicely into Seattle's skyline. Instead, developer Crescent Heights wants the building to dominate it. New details reveal plans for the building to rise 101 stories, which would dwarf current height champ, the 76-story Columbia Center, and could make it the tallest building on the West Coast.
GOING GREEN-- Dwell Development can check off another milestone in local eco-friendly building now that they've completed the first 5-Star Built Green Live/Work homes in Seattle. The live/work units located at 3237 California Ave SW offer traditional mixed-use spaces for those who want to live more sustainably. Curbed has a ton of pics right over here.
CURBED COMPARISONS -- Curbed often takes a look at what you can rent around Seattle for a certain price. This week, they threw in the added caveat of only pet-friendly rentals at $1,400/month. Turns out, just because a place accepts pets that doesn't mean they're going to give you a lot of space to live with them. Check out the five choices here and then cast your vote for the one you'd choose.
