Delight, breakfast fans: the fourth Portage Bay Cafe by owners John and Amy Gunnar is about to debut in Roosevelt. Again, the 3,400-square-foot,125-seat space lives in The Rooster, a 197-unit apartment building at 65th and Roosevelt (near Whole Foods). This newest branch boasts a sizable patio (for next year) and will serve the same trusted menus as the other outposts, continuing the company's mission of offering organic, sustainable foods, locally sourced whenever possible, to help you eat like you give a damn.
Doors open Friday at 7:30 a.m. Regular hours are daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Portage Bay also has locations in South Lake Union, Ballard, and the U-District, and fingers crossed this fourth branch will lighten their lines a bit.
