Where to Drink Cider During Washington Cider Week

Washington Cider Week starts tomorrow and runs through September 20, with more than 100 events taking place throughout the state.

Here are a few highlights taking place locally:

Cider Week Kickoff and Happy Hour at Capitol Cider

The partnership with local nonprofit City Fruit runs from 4 to 6 p.m. with happy hour specials and chances to win tickets to City Fruit's annual cider taste fundraiser.

Cider Summit Seattle

The state's largest cider tasting event takes place Friday and Saturday, with more than 150 ciders for sampling.

East Meets West Cider Evening at the Burgundian

Also taking place tomorrow, this event features ciders and cider cocktails from Eden Cider Co. in Vermont and Alpenfire in Washington.

Cider Fete at Bottlehouse

Expect 10 Northwest cideries, live music, and cheese pairings on Sunday at Madrona's Bottlehouse.

Washington Cider Week Finale

Head to Beveridge Place Pub for a chance to meet cidermakers and try samples from Wandering Aengus, Tieton, Seattle Cider Co., Finnriver Farms, Alpenfire, Eaglemount, Schilling, Reverend Nat's, Snowdrift, Blue Mountain, Dragonshead, 2 Towns, Whitewood, and Sixknot.
