Feed Co. Burgers, Scott Staples' new burger joint in the Central District, officially opened for business on Saturday, slinging tricked-out burgers, sandwiches, shakes, beer, and more.
Eater stopped by just as the team was putting finishing touches on the venue in preparation for opening. As you can see in the pictures above, the modern-industrial space sports features that feel very similar to the Redmond location, with plenty of wood and red accents. The menu is similar, too, except that the lamb, bison, and pork options that are fixtures in Redmond will instead be specials in the Central District. Other rotating rarities will include a braised short rib sandwich or a house-made corned beef or pastrami option.
Staples, whose restaurant group also owns Quinn's, Restaurant Zoe, and Uneeda Burger, opened the original Feed Co. Burgers in Redmond last July. About a year later, he announced that the second outpost would be coming to 24th and Union, in the Central District's new Stencil building.
