Crown Hill will soon be home to The Dane, which bills itself as a neighborhood beer and coffee cafe offering "curated beers," wine on tap, espresso, and tea. The cafe is currently under construction at 8000 15th Avenue NW, the former home of Iconic Cannabis Collective.
In addition to its drink offerings, The Dane promises sandwiches and ice cream "to enjoy with your friends and neighbors in a comfortable and inviting environment."
The Dane is currently raising funds for its construction through a founders' club called The Herred, which offers "lifetime memberships" for $225. The company promises you a bunch of branded swag, invitations to special events, $1 off all draft drinks (for a maximum of three per day), and $1 off growler fills.
