Restaurant Zoe on Capitol Hill Will Become Strictly an Events Space After Sunday

The restaurant as you know it will host its final service on Valentine's Day.

If you're a fan of Restaurant Zoe, better get there before the end of the weekend. After dinner service on February 14, Zoe as you know it will cease to exist as it transforms into an event space.

Owners Scott and Heather Staples released a statement explaining that as their catering business grew, the Capitol Hill restaurant portion became more difficult to consistently manage, and a choice had to be made. That choice involves private events and parties, "cooking classes, pop-ups (like summertime brunches), and other fun events from the Staples Restaurant Group."

The couple promise they "will always have outstanding quality, local and creative food, and our same talented crew," and suggest diners stay tuned to Facebook and their official site for more details.

'Tis the season for transformations, apparently — Ethan Stowell also recently announced he'd convert his restaurant Chippy's to Marine Hardware after Valentine's Day.
