White Center is the lucky recipient of the next branch of popular Japanese-inspired bakery Fresh Flours. A "Coming Soon" sign recently popped up in the window of a former HVAC shop on Delridge Way SW, and Fresh Flours co-owner Etsuko Minematsu tells Eater the location plans to be open by early April.

Located on a strip next to a marijuana shop, a vape and smoke shop, and a Vietnamese restaurant, the owners are in the process of turning the space into a summer hangout. The new Fresh Flours building will be converted to two-thirds bakery and one-third cafe, with an espresso bar seating area.
Additionally, a tiny house has been removed from the backyard and the owners are putting in a "sunken courtyard" that will include plenty of outdoor seating.

As for the menu, it will match those of the Ballard, Phinney, and Beacon Hill locations, with Japanese fusion breakfast pastries, macarons, cookies, Molly's sandwiches, and Stumptown coffee.
