Two new spots, now open.

MORGAN JUNCTIONMeander's Kitchen, the on-again off-again diner that has wandered all over Seattle, returned to its original 'hood this weekend, taking over the former home of Kokoras Greek Grill. As expected, the latest incarnation adds dinner service along with some of Kokoras' recipes. In typical fashion, owner Miranda Krone shared brief details to Facebook followed by a "Long-winded, mushy, Miranda version" of the latest chapter of her story. 6400 California Ave SW, Facebook. Open Thursday, Sunday, and Monday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

LAURELHURST—Josh Henderson's Huxley Wallace Collective opened its second of many Great State Burger outposts last Wednesday, adjacent to new sister brasserie Saint Helens. The company is still hiring full-time line cooks to turn out its organic, grass-fed burgers for $15/hour plus benefits. There's also an uncommon notice printed on the front window: the text "Service animals always welcome" accompanied by a picture of a horse, a reference to the fact that miniature horses can be service animals. 3600 NE 45th St, (206) 775-8990, website. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
