Ravenna has already scored acclaimed restaurant Salare, whose celebrated chef Edouardo Jordan was recently profiled in Lucky Peach, and Sushi Wataru, which just nabbed three stars from The Seattle Times. As of April 15, the neighborhood will have a seven-barrel brewery to call its very own, too.

Ravenna Brewing Company opens its doors on April 15 at 4 p.m. Owner Tommy Ortega says he's currently expecting to pour his Lion Tamer bourbon vanilla porter, jalapeño kolsch, Bang It Out Belgian pale, Night Night Juice imperial red rye IPA, and Palisade IPA on opening day. "We're currently working on other beers, hopefully they're ready for the opening. That being said, we'll be rotating ales all year around," Ortega promises. "Experimental beers, boutique beers, and sours."

Eater originally announced the project from Ortega and his wife Elise last March; at that time, they were planning to call it Ol Faithful Brewing.

5408 26th Avenue NE, website. Open Wednesday through Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 12 to 8 p.m.
