Vendemmia owner Brian Clevenger, hot off his opening of East Anchor Seafood, is planning a pasta restaurant in West Seattle this summer. Raccolto will serve the seafood and fresh pasta Clevenger has become known for at his Madrona restaurant.

"I moved to West Seattle two years ago and I love the vibe," Clevenger says in a statement. "I've been wanting to open something over here and just waiting for a great spot. I'm totally looking forward to getting to meet the neighborhood!"

Expect a vegetable-heavy menu with rotating seasonal preparations, around eight types of fresh pasta every day, and three or four daily protein mains with an emphasis on seafood.

Raccolto will be housed in a 1,700-square-foot space at 4147 California Avenue SW with 40 seats at tables and banquettes, plus eight more at the bar. The restaurant will have a lofted mezzanine in the center for private events. Clevenger is planning to open at 4 p.m. every day for happy hour and dinner.
