Two Seattle establishments are celebrating Passover with their own twists on traditional dishes.
Maria Hines' Golden Beetle is offering a special Passover menu from April 23 through 30. The five-course tasting menu incorporates items found in a traditional Passover meal and is available for $50 per person with an optional kosher wine pairing for an additional $25 per person.
The food truck Napkin Friends, which slings latke press sandwiches, is running a promotion called "Passover All Over" from April 25 through 29. The truck is "kosherizing" its menu and serving food at various locations around the city, including Fremont, the Mercer Island Jewish Community Center, UW Hillel, Capitol Hill, and downtown Bellevue. The exact locations are available on the Napkin Friends calendar.
