Biscuit Bitch Expands Its Southern Soul Food to Pioneer Square

Opening May 25

Jim D/Yelp

Irreverently delicious Southern breakfast peddler Biscuit Bitch is in expansion mode, with a Pioneer Square location in the works. The new space at 621 3rd Ave will mark the third for the company, which also operates shops in Belltown and near Pike Place Market. Owner Kimmie Spice has built a popular enterprise, with lines often out the door at her other two restaurants.

The Pioneer Square spot will include a sit-down cafe on the ground level of the historic St. Charles building. Expect the same breakfast-all-day menu, which includes biscuits and gravy, garlic grits, and Louisiana hot links. There are also vegetarian and gluten-free options. Customers will have the ability to order from a full espresso bar with coffee by Ballard's Seven Coffee Roasters.

The restaurant is holding a soft opening on May 24 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for residents and staff of the St. Charles building. The official opening will be May 25, and at first this latest Biscuit Bitch will only be open on weekdays. Weekend hours will be added in the summer.

621 3rd Ave, website. Open Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
