Remember all those heavy-hitters taking up residence in Amazon's Doppler building? Well, there's another opening to look forward to in the restaurant constellation that includes Great State Burger and Bar Noroeste from Josh Henderson, Mamnoon Street and Anar, Skillet, and Marination.

Cinque Terre promises to bring the seafood-focused cuisine of the Italian Rivera, courtesy of brothers Leo, Salvio, and Roberto Varchetta, who also own Barolo Ristorante and Mamma Melina. They'll blend the influences of the picturesque Cinque Terre villages with Pacific Northwest products. Expect oysters, branzino, and octopus along with grass-fed beef and plenty of pasta made in-house. The restaurant also sports a custom Neapolitan gas-fired pizza oven.

On hand to execute that vision will be chef John Neumark, who brings an impressive history cooking at Cafe Juanita and Serafina. He most recently led the culinary program as resident chef for retail giant Sur la Table.

Cinque Terre will serve lunch and dinner during the week, plus brunch on weekends.

2001 Westlake Avenue, (206) 456-6300, website. Open daily for dinner 3 p.m. to 12 a.m., weekdays for lunch 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and weekends for brunch 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
