West Seattle Brewing has opened a space on Alki Beach, marking its second location. The new spot held its grand opening on June 16.
The brewery took over a space formerly occupied by Slices on Alki, and the brewery owners are keeping the pizza theme; they're offering handcrafted pizza to pair with the beer. Patrons can choose from among ten taps, with all beer crafted at the original Fauntleroy brewery.
There's more for West Seattle: The owners of The Whisky Bar in Belltown have opened an outpost in the neighborhood. Whisky West, courtesy of Colin and Donna Pickering, has opened in the former Feedback Lounge space at 6451 California SW. The Pickerings held a soft opening on June 15.
Just like the Belltown spot, expect a well-curated menu of whiskey, craft cocktails, and bottled and draft beers, plus bar snacks if you get hungry. Whisky West accommodates 150 people in booths and at tables; should your phone need some juice, the booths have charging ports.
