Step Inside Scout, a High-End Ode to Woodsy Charm

The restaurant launched inside downtown's new luxury hotel, Thompson Seattle

Button up your flannel and grab a sleeping bag, because you're going to want to pitch a tent and spend the night at Scout, the new Josh Henderson restaurant at luxury hotel Thompson Seattle (110 Stewart St).

Sporting vintage Boy Scout mugs, books with titles like Cabin Porn and Rock the Shack, and booths upholstered in pink, orange, and blue plaid, Scout is a high-end addition to Huxley Wallace Collective's attractive line of restaurants. In fact, the charming kitsch is reminiscent of sister sports bar Quality Athletics' vibe, with a touch of growing chain Great State Burger thrown in for good measure. Take a closer look inside with the photos above.

Scout, an ode to Pacific Northwest fare with table-side cart service, opened privately June 1 with the launch of the downtown hotel, and welcomed the public June 6. Rooftop bar The Nest, another Henderson project in the same building, spreads its wings June 13.
