Scott Staples, whose restaurant group owns Quinn's, Restaurant Zoe, and Uneeda Burger, opened Feed Co. Burgers in Redmond last July. Staples is now working on a second outpost of his latest creation at 24th and Union, in the Central District's new Stencil building.
Staples says to expect an October opening for the new restaurant, which will have a four-season heated patio. The menu will feel familiar to anyone who's patronized the Redmond location, which slings quick-service burgers ranging from $5 (the quarter-pound beef classic) to $14 (six-ounce turkey, lamb, and bison burgers, plus other off-beat meats like Chinese water buffalo and elk).
"I like to push the envelope of almost sloppy...and then some are just sloppy, I can't help it," Staples told Eater last year. Fries, shakes, and beer round out the menu.
Feed Co. will share the building with Union Coffee, a project from Zack Reinig, also known as the husband of ice cream maven Molly Moon Neitzel. Reinig has Linda Derschang consulting on the design.
