Brand-new Bothell nanobrewery Decibel Brewing Company held soft openings this past weekend. Owners Ben Endicott and Corey Cook are now ready for the real deal; they'll hold a grand opening celebration on Friday.
Decibel got its start on Kickstarter, exceeding its $10,000 goal in May. Endicott and Cook are both former homebrewers, and they've teamed up with Eric Tilley, who studied brewing at the Siebel Institute, to launch their tiny two-barrel operation.
Expect the opening line up of beers to include an IPA, a pale ale, a wit, a stout, a cream ale, an altbier, a dark ale, and a Belgian-style farmhouse ale.
18204 Bothell Everett Hwy Suite C, (425) 408-1946, website. Open Fridays 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 2 to 10 p.m.
