If you’ve sorely missed the temporarily-shuttered Art of the Table, take heart in this news: The revered Fremont restaurant will reopen in its new location on April 7. It’s currently accepting reservations for that night via OpenTable — and right now, there are plenty of slots available. Cue the feeding frenzy.

Can't wait to get into our new kitchen! Until then, here's a little throwback to some perfect crispy skin on Neah Bay...

Back in September, the Eater 38 member announced plans to relocate to 3801 Stone Way N, in the retail space of the Bowman Stoneway luxury apartment building. Husband-and-wife owners Dustin Ronspies and Shannon Van Horn closed up shop in the original location at 1054 North 39th Street on February 18.

The new space is in a more visible location, and it’s bigger, with 75 seats and an expanded bar and lounge. The open kitchen and chef’s counter will allow diners to watch the magic happen.

While the digs are different, the concept remains largely the same, with a focus on local, seasonal ingredients fashioned into creative plates and served in a tasting-menu format. There’s one small tweak to the formula, though: the addition of an a la carte menu, allowing you to order specific items rather than go with the flow of the chef’s choice.

The restaurant’s hours at its new home will be Wednesday through Sunday 5 to 10 p.m.
