Supreme, West Seattle’s fantastic throwback pizzeria from Ma’Ono owner Mark Fuller, has opened its U District expansion. For now, the divey spot is only open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as it awaits approval of its liquor license application. When that comes through, Supreme will extend its hours — and add boozy frozen cocktails to the menu.
Our U-district location is now open 11-4 daily (will be later when we get our liquor license) come say hi! @cam_hanin

The new pizzeria set up shop in the original home of Pagliacci, at 4529 University Ave. NE, which closed last July after almost 40 years. Unlike the entirely 21-and-over West Seattle original, the U District outpost has an all-ages section up front.
Supreme’s menu revolves around huge, thin, sort-of New York-style crust with toppings like pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushrooms on red or white sauces. The most outlandish combo is on the Ono, a nod to Ma’Ono’s Hawaiian-style specialty: fried chicken, kimchi, and American cheese. Supreme’s whole pies and slices, and simple sides — stellar garlic knots, Caesar and chop salad, and lemon-pepper wings — have all made the transition to the U District.
