12 Places to Watch the Broncos Take a Beating Sunday

View as Map

THE SEAHAWKS ARE IN THE SUPER BOWL! THE SEAHAWKS ARE IN THE SUPER BOWL! Yell it, repeat it, and then remember that that's how you lost your voice.

However you want to celebrate this momentous occasion, we have you covered with all kinds of Super Bowl parties to watch the Hawks bury the Broncos. In no particular order, here are 12 of the best parties in town.

Honorable Mention:

Lucky enough to be heading east to the actual Super Bowl, but want to keep it local? John Howie and former Hawk Craig Terrill will be hanging at the Taste of the NFL to raise money for Food Lifeline. At February 1's "Party with a Purpose," they'll be serving up food in Brooklyn to represent our hometown and raise money for local hungry folks. Because everything is a competition, you can help bring it home for Seatown by putting money into the Kick Hunger Challenge.

If nachos and pizza aren’t really your thing, tie on your fanciest green and blue ascot and head to the Pike Place Market for the big game. A discounted lunch menu celebrates the 12th man with all apps and entrees for $12 or less, including fois, steak, and mussels.

Not to mince words, but we’re pretty sure that if Ba Bar calls an event “$5 Sunday Cocktails with Seahawks and GIANT TV,” that’s probably what they have to offer. Snacks too.

Beer is the perfect date for any Super Bowl party and this Ballard brewhouse will be showing the game on a big screen and projector, plus their standard set up, so you can see the game from any seat in the house. They’ll be open at noon for pints and growler fills, and are totes cool with you ordering a pizza to the brewery. Plus, Stouperbowl Sunday just got better because Nosh the Truck will be out front!

TVs are for suckers, so MG is gonna straight project the game on the restaurant’s wall. Plus, you can munch on Jason Wilson’s football-themed menu, like the Legion of Lettuce Wraps, Beast Cakes (app-sized crabbies), and meat from a 9-foot gridiron grill. Miller’s Guild will be open at 9 a.m.

(First) Down some Seahawks themed cocktails at the Mediterranean-influence Maria Hines resto, and even your mouth can be colored with team spirit. Grab a Chancellor Smash, Early Riser, Byron Mixwell B4, or Sherman’s Tip. Because this is def a Seahawks bar only, if you show up in Broncos gear, it’ll cost you — a 10% surcharge in addition to the pointing and laughing (at you, not with you).

Bait Shop

They’re super serial about their Seahawk snacking at the Bait Shop. For ten bucks, you can grab a plate of unlimited nachos (yeah, you read that right), which is just crazy talk. Plus, grab $3 beast mode shots every time the Hawks score, and bathe in a rain shower of Skittles every time Marshawn Lynch scores. Oh, and the game, yeah, that’ll be on, too — projected.

Free admission, a free pizza bar, tons of drink specials, and a 12th Man costume contest at halftime? Yeah, we’d say they’re going the full nine yards at The Croc. Doors at 2 p.m.

24-hour haven Lost Lake is offering food and drink for the hungry (12th) man in all of us, with bacon-wrapped hot dogs served with fixings and fries for $6.50, $5 Manmosas (a pint of mimosa, duh), and two buck Bud Lights. Oh, and Touchdown shots, of course, only $6 (but be sure to make the tip after for a solid 7).

Practice, practice, practice. That’s what it takes to make it in football. But all you have to do to get in the game at Poquito’s is show up early, since doors open at 10 a.m. and you’ll wanna get comfy with your margarita ($7 for a 12th Man marg) so you don’t just just blue yourself in the crowd. Besides blue tequila drinks, grab $4 guac and $4 drafts.

It’s all pun and games at Brave Horse, with the Legion of Barbecue bringing ribs, hot links, pulled pork, chicken, and southern sides for $15. Pick six, if you want, but this only comes with one meatacular choice. Plus, enjoy some crazy nachos and watch the game on the big screen.

Put down the pigskin and pick up a football pretzel (laces out), chili cheese dogs, and all sorts of beer specials. Doors open at 12, man, and 14 screens will be showing the road to victory for Hawks fans.
