The Eastside of Seattle and King County spans the eastern length of Lake Washington and is home to over 490,000 people. Its diverse population has meant it’s never been difficult to find good Chinese, Indian, or Japanese food in the area. More recently, the Eastside has seen a boom in spots serving food from all over the world, from beloved international chains opening up their first domestic locations in Bellevue and Redmond to independently owned cafes serving Malaysia dishes, Turkish street food, and the cuisines of individual Mexican states. Consider the following list a launching pad for continued exploration of Renton’s prolific Mexican and Vietnamese food scene, BelRed’s dense collection of regional Chinese cuisine, and other gems up north Woodinville and Kirkland.
