Wedding season is here, which means it's time to get dressed up, celebrate the happy couples, and eat and drink to excess.

There are plenty of good options for receptions in Seattle, but some of the best can be found in the city's restaurant scene. These spaces sometimes lack the bells and whistles of traditional wedding venues, but your creativity will be rewarded with great food, beautiful surroundings, and the opportunity to call a portion of your favorite restaurant your own for the evening.

At Lunchbox Laboratory's Thomas Street location, you can rent out the Rumpus Room for your wedding reception and eat burgers and drink milkshakes till you drop. The space can hold around 85 people.

Boat Street Kitchen

Boat Street Kitchen's darling rusticity is available to host 45 to 54 seated guests Tuesday through Saturday, and up to 95 on Sundays and Mondays. The only downside is an extra fee for dancing, but the food is guaranteed to be on point.

Farestart
