From the looks of our last Friday Open Threads on where to find the spiciest dishes in the Seattle area, it's clear that many readers don't have a problem with spice, throwing caution to the wind that usually cries something like, "Seattleites don't like heat, blah blah blah" and opting for the highest number on the scoville scale (well, maybe not quite).

Take note naysayers, because according to this roundup, there are some heat seekers that know just where to go for a sweat-inducing/enticing meal. Whether it's an entire dish or the hot sauce that accompanies it, here is a map (in alphabetical order) of 18 spots with a spark, including reader comments. Remember, this is a crowdsourced-generated map. Not happy with it? Make sure you chime in next time. Or, feel free to leave your two-cents it in the comments.

"This vegetarian Thai restaurant in the U-District does pretty spicy stuff. My husband loves insanely spicy food and was impressed. They go over 4 stars for sure."

"They're serious about their spice here, but the trick is, you have to ask for it. Let them know you're serious if you want HEAT and they'll bring it. Otherwise, you might be disappointed, as the servers tend to downplay the spice to appease the majority of the spice-intolerant crowd."

"One of the spiciest rolls I've eaten in Seattle is the Hotter Than Hell roll. It's got habanero masago AND truffle oil. Holy, hell. And don't think beer is going to help cool down your mouth."

"The spice here is no joke! I don't know how far up the star-level goes here, but I watched my friend eat a dish that was 10-stars, while I was sweating head-to-toe with my six-star dinner."

"Order your favorite style of BBQ sandwich (pulled pork, sliced beef, etc.) and get the Hot BBQ sauce and also Spike it (slice of spicy sausage). The Hot BBQ is not the run of the mill meek hot sauce. It's flaming hot. It's quite the juxtaposition as you sit on one of their picnic tables sweating on a cold and overcast day."
