All of their food is great, but they have the benefit of a vegetarian and vegan-centric specialist running the kitchen. Surprisingly, meat options don’t suffer, though the stars of the menu are the beet burger and beet Cuban, which makes even meat-lovers full-on crave it.

The folks at Rain City use Boca patties for several of their burgers, but the star of the veggie burger world is their Chipotle Black Bean Burger. The perfect blend of spice and smoke, it's easily polish-offable.

With three veggie options — seasonal vegetable, falafel, and spicy black bean — there are almost exactly the same number of burgers non-meativores can make up. And, since the best thing about Blue Moon is getting creative with their offerings, this is a huge relief for vegetarians who like to mix it up. Plus, they're half-price on Mondays after 4 pm!

The Phinney drinking joint has a few options for vegetarians, but their garden burger and portobello burger with the goat cheese croquette are both delicious and consistent. And even though they’re moist and awesome, there’s plenty of beer around to help you take it down.

Though their meat burgers are amazing, the Veggie Veggie features a black bean burger that actually stays intact when eaten. So, basically, a miracle in a bun. Extra points for their homemade queso and fries, and a fry-milkshake combo they call simply (and accurately), “Crack.”

We've already told you about the Big Mac-inspired Mac Daddy, but there's more burger love at this vegan cafe. The “beef-patty” Wayward Burger and BBQ Burger are both popular and flavorful, and the latter comes with tempeh bacon, “cheese,” and frizzled onions. It’s not for everyone, but it is for vegans.
