After such a trying year, it’s understandable that one would want an excellent meal to start out 2021 right. While many restaurants are closed for the holiday, there are still several great options around town offering hearty takeout meals with comfort dishes galore. From fancier tasting menus to all-day diners, here are some menus to check out while toasting to hopefully brighter days ahead.

All places offer takeout, some delivery, and a few have limited outdoor seating, with services noted. This should not be taken as endorsement for dining in, as there are still safety concerns: for updated information on local coronavirus cases, please visit the official King County’s COVID page. Studies indicate that there is a lower exposure risk when outdoors, but the level of risk involved with patio dining is contingent on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines.
